- Cleaning 365
Cleaning, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs now sit on a single contract, with 24/7 response and more than 200 buildings under service.
Cleaning 365 Services has expanded its integrated facility management services to commercial, healthcare, retail and industrial buildings across the Greater Toronto Area, wider Ontario and British Columbia. The expansion places commercial cleaning, janitorial work, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and general building support under one contract, managed by one accountable team.
What the expanded program covers
- Commercial and janitorial cleaning for offices, retail and multi-tenant buildings
- Warehouse and industrial cleaning
- Medical and dental facility cleaning
- Scheduled preventive maintenance with condition reporting
- Emergency maintenance with 24-hour response
- Day-to-day building support
Facility managers hold one service agreement and one point of contact rather than a separate contract for each function.
Why one contract instead of four vendors
A building running on separate cleaning, maintenance and repair vendors leaves the coordination with the person managing the site, and the work that falls between two contracts is usually the work that gets missed. When a floor is damaged during a cleaning shift or a washroom fixture fails overnight, responsibility is often disputed before it is assigned.
“Most of the buildings we take on were already paying three or four contractors to keep one property running,” said Sana Salman, President and CEO of Cleaning 365 Services. “When cleaning, maintenance and repairs sit with different vendors, the gaps between them become the facility manager’s problem. Putting those functions on one contract means there is one team answerable for whether the building is clean, safe and operating, and one number to call when something fails outside business hours.”
Built around how each building actually runs
Healthcare and dental. A continuous hygiene model rather than cleaning only at opening and closing. High-touch surfaces in waiting areas, treatment rooms and reception zones are disinfected at set intervals through operating hours, with work sequenced around patient flow so appointments are not interrupted.
Retail. Schedules run against customer traffic rather than a fixed clock, so presentation holds through the busiest trading periods, which is when most reactive schedules fall behind.
Warehouse and industrial. Zone-based scheduling completes work in phases across defined areas, so production lines, loading operations and storage zones keep running rather than shutting down section by section.
Preventive maintenance and 24/7 emergency response
Preventive maintenance is scheduled and reported per site, with condition reporting given to the property owner or manager rather than logged internally. Emergency maintenance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for failures that cannot wait for a business-hours callout.
Products chosen for occupied buildings
ECOLOGO and GREENGUARD certified products are used in occupied spaces such as offices, clinics and retail floors, where people remain on site while cleaning is underway. Heavier-duty products are reserved for back-of-house and industrial areas. Clients can request the product list and safety data sheets in use at their site.
How a building transfers over
Buildings moving from an existing vendor follow a standard onboarding process:
- Site walkthrough and scope audit
- Written service plan and schedule
- Crew assignment and site-specific training
- Phased start, so the building is never uncovered during changeover
Most transitions are completed within two to four weeks of a signed agreement.
Credentials behind the work
Cleaning 365 Services is ISSA CIMS certified and ISO 9001 certified, WSIB insured, WHMIS certified, SafeContractor approved, and a member of IPC. Cleaning teams are trained to the environment they work in, including hazard communication and site safety requirements.
Consistency across a multi-site portfolio
The company services more than 200 buildings and has operated for more than 10 years. For clients running several sites, scheduling and supervision are centralized, so a portfolio spread across Ontario and British Columbia is held to one specification and reported through one line rather than negotiated building by building.
“Consistency across a portfolio is harder than doing one building well,” said Salman. “The reason multi-site standards slip is that each location ends up with its own arrangement, its own supplier and its own definition of clean. Centralizing the scheduling and the supervision is what removes that variation, and it is most of what this expansion has gone into.”
